The Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology conducted a training for the out-of-school youth of Barangay Alulod, Indang, Cavite on 22-25 October 2012. The activity aimed to provide the target clientele with the necessary skills and knowledge in the field of electrical, electronics and automotive technology to make them more productive and competitive.Sixty out-of-school youth from the barangay trained on basic automotive gas engine mechanic, welding fabrication, building wiring installation, and basic consumer electronics. The faculty and staff of the department facilitated the lecture and hands-on sessions.
The training is part of the extension program of the department for Barangay Alulod.
