Dr. Jasper G. Tallada discussed Exploiting the Invisible: Near-infrared Spectroscopy Applications to Philippine Agriculture on 11 September 2012 at the Conference Room of the National Coffee Research, Development and Extension Center (NCRDEC), Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Select faculty members and staff from related disciplines attended the seminar which focused on the science and technology behind NIR spectroscopy and its current and potential applications to agriculture and other industries.Dr. Tallada is an assistant professor from the College of Engineering and Information Technology and the project leader on developing an NIR spectroscopy instrument which is funded by the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD).
