Led by their adviser, Engr. Larry E. Rocela, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers Cavite State University – Student Chapter (PICE-CvSU SC) participated in the medical and dental mission sponsored by PICE Cavite Chapter held in Brgy. San Roque, Naic, Cavite on 17 February, 2012. Seven civil engineering students volunteered to assist.The medical and dental mission was held in the covered court of Kingsway Christian Academe of Naic. A total of 248 patients from San Roque and nearby barangays availed of the free services, 152 of them were medical patients, 68 were dental patients and 38 of them underwent free electrocardiogram (ECG) test. The services included blood pressure test, ECG test, dental services and doctor counseling. Free medicines were also provided to the patients.
Aside from assisting the patients and other officials, PICE CvSU-SC documented the whole event which was part of the birthday celebration of the newly elected PICE Cavite Chapter president, Engr. Guillermo M. Telmo.
