Academic policies and guidelines reviewed

The College of Engineering and Information Technology revised its academic policies and guidelines after the  review conducted by the committee created by Engr. Efren R. Rocillo, Assistant College Dean.

The Review Committee chaired by Engr. Marcelino A. Dagasdas Jr. presented the results of their review on 25 October 2011 at the College Conference Room. Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, Vice President for Academic Affairs, graced the occasion and challenged the group to continue the commitment in serving the University’s clientele.

The following are the areas reviewed:

  • Vision, Mission College Goals, Academic Requirements and Conduct of Examinations - Dr. Marilyn M. Escobar
  • CEIT Library, Use and Maintenance of Facilities and Equipment, University Computer Center  - Engr. Michael T. Costa
  • Student Research (Design Project/Thesis) - Engr. Cesar C. Carriaga
  • Editing Thesis - Engr. Edwin R. Arboleda
  • Grading System - Dr. Leyma L. Cero
  • Sanctions on Delinquent Staff, Hiring of Part-time Staff/Visiting Professor/Consultant, Screening of Applicants - Dr. Camilo A. Polinga
  • On-the-Job Training Program - Mr. Willie C. Buclatin
  • Faculty Research - Prof. Aileen V. Rocillo
  • Integrated Research, Development and Extension Agenda and Programs - Dr. David L. Cero
